Ohoo Carrot

Carrot Moist Cake without frosting, as requested by my mom's friend. She wanted the cake to be divided into 3 parts as a gift to Ustaz mengaji & best friends. Delivered last week.

Another Carrot Moist Cake which was ordered a very long ago (during fasting month) by a pregnant lady, Yatt. I promised to deliver the cake on last Monday, bust when I SMS her, she was in the labor room due to she got a early sign of labor. Pity her cannot enjoy my cake. Due to that, her officemates Azmah & Shell took the cake and wanted to treat the whole staffs with this fluffy and tasty cake. But yesterday, I got email from Shell that she took the cake & treat the fiance family as I cannot fulfill her order (Choc Moist Cake). She had reminded me few times about the cake, but I cannot take too many orders at one time.

Kek Syawal lagi

Sabtu pagi saya siapkan 2 kek, 1st for my mom untuk majlis jamuan hari raya kat kelas Arabnya, Carrot Moist Cake, simple aje hiasannya tapi rasanya sgt memuaskan, dan dah dapat 1 oder dr kawan emak for the same cake to bake tonight.

Sabtu jugs sibuk nyiapkan kek Key Lime Cheesecake dipesan oleh opismate, Kak Hapsah atau lebih mesra sy panggil Makchah, but dlm meeting idokle sy panggil dia cenggitu, tak professional plak. Actually kek tu tak perlu hias dengan whipped topping, tapi dek kerana sy bukak pintu oven masa membakarnya serentak dengan Carrot Moist Cake diatas, keknye tercrack. Buat Cheesecake, memang takbleh bukak pintu oven sampai habanya hilang. So, sy hias sket dengan whipped topping & letak baby lime menggunakan marzipan & letak tag Happy Birthday khas utk Kakak Makchah atau saya panggil MakLong.

Ahad, saya siapkan kek utk rumah Semah, Blueberry Cheesecake delight.

Sebelum keluar ke semua open house, sy bakar dulu 2 biji kek (saiz L) Super Moist Choc Cake yg di tempah oleh Juli. Ahad tu sy jalan raya dr jam 12.00pm sampai 9.00om ke 4 rumah + klinik sebab Mawaddah demam. Lepas mandi & susukan & tidurkan Mawaddah sy sambung deco kek Juli & Silky Choc Chip Cheesecake yang dipesan oleh Shelly. Utk Juli, special sy buat Choc Ganache (saja nak praktis skill, takut lupa) dan Kek Shelly, very last minute sampai parents sy yg tolong hantar ke ofis pada Isnin jam 11.45am. So gambonyer pon tak sempat nak snap. Thanks a lot shell semua orang berpuashati dengan Kek Smiley .

Kek rumah terbuka

Sabtu lepas, Smiley buat rumah terbuka. Baca cerita rumah terbuka Smiley disini. Memandangkan tahun ni lebih ramai jemputan , sy buat 5 biji kek.
2 biji American Choc Cake menggunakan adunan percuma semasa membeli SPAR Mixer. Kat atas ni gambo yg size besar. Sebiji lg size kecik tak tangkap. Yang size kecil sy hias dengan toasted almond nib.
Ke-3 kek Cream Peach Cheesecake. Ni kek sejukkan sahaja tak perlu bakar dan sy buat 2 kali adunan untuk dapat size besar.
Ke-4 kek Silky Choc Chip Cheesecake, kek terbaru Smiley, resipi saya sendiri. Base dia sy guna Royal Span bukan biskut sebab nak habiskan stok adunan percuma yg sy dapat. Untuk anda, semestinya saya guna base biskut coklat Cream-O, juli's dijamin Halal ;) Sy dah dapat 2 tempahan kek ini ;) Alhamdulillah

Semua kek sy buat segi empat sebab bila makan ramai2 ututk jamuan senang la nk dipotong. ;)

Ke-5 Black Forest Triffle yang saya pon tak sempat tangkap gambar. Silapnya, memang kene guna Fresh Cream (memula sy guna light cream, light cream cair, so last inute sy topped dgn non dairy whipped tcream) baru rasa dia & rupanya lebih menawan kalbu.

p./s- I'm selling MCC at new price of RM40 for 8' (approximate weight:1kg) effective this week. Will update new prices for all cakes very soon (hmm due to the price hike of all major ingre)

Price hike

Assalamualaikum to all,

Last week I went to Bake With Yen in Puchong to buy few ingre as most of my raw materials is running out of stock. Surprisingly, few major ingre that I used in my cake had price hike. There are: Butter anchor increase 40 cents to RM4.10/250gm, Anchor cream cheese increase RM4.50 to RM22/kg and other flours namely Cake Flour and Self Rising Flour price hike in range between 50 - 90 cents/kg.

The Kraft Phili 2kg is still maintaine at RM32/2kg quite cheaper than Anchor but I don't used it as the 2 kg pack doesn't have the 'Halal' logo.



I still have to use the only Halal product, so kindly be informed that I have to increase my cake's price a bit but I believe it's still affordable among the cakes in the town.
